"Veil" is a part of the "Unbecoming" phase and is a reflection of what remains unseen. It explores the layers beneath perception.

This artwork was one of my earliest designs when I was struggling with hidden truths and things buried beneath the surface that could not be dug up. I wanted to express the uncomfortableness of  unkowing.

"Fractured" explores moments when we feel lost and unsure of where to step next.

This is one of my earliest artworks as I moved out of an unwanted situation and took the leap of faith to restart my life. It expresses being lost and broken yet the upward flow in the painting embodies the "restart".

This luxury scarf features an original abstract artwork where antique gold is etched against obsidian and white creating a vibe of beautiful chaos.

"Layers" explores the complex levels we operate in our life. This belongs to the "Unbecoming" phase. It is expressing the many roles we each play on a day-to-day basis yet beneath all these roles there is something much more to our humaneness.

"Hidden Treasure" explores the depths of inner beauty and ones "own" inner treasure.

I was inspired by a scene which captured a dark space with shells and beautiful stones from the sea....it was like a hidden treasure chest.

It reminded me that we all have treasure hidden deep inside of us. This is especially important when one is going through some tough times and as we all wrestle living in a fast-paced, distracting world.

As part of the “Unbecoming” phase I created "Resilience" to capture the essence of quiet strength and the power to endure.

It was painted a bit later than “Forest” when I had some direction in my life - yet it was a tough road to be on!

What images or colors come up for you when you reflect on the times when you had to be resilient?

There are times in life where everything feels uncertain and tough.

Times in life when it is a struggle to even know what the next move is.

This is something we can all relate to.

During these times I find myself returning to nature. Trees are my medicine and bamboo particularly fascinates me with both its agility and resilience.
